Review of Pontypool (2009) by Esther H — 08 Dec 2009
A film where the only way to survive is to shut the hell up or know a second language? I can get behind that :-).
Very scary but with minimal actual gore - most of the scares come from the claustrophopic atmosphere of the radio studio were no one is sure what's going on while snippets come through the phone lines.
Really liked this a lot - understated and classy. Reminded me of Orson Welles' original War of the Worlds for some reason.
