Review of Pontypool (2009) by Luke C — 06 Feb 2010
A very different take on a virus/outbreak/zombie type of movie that's very interesting to watch, slightly uneven, and somewhat frustrating at times, but ultimately an enjoyable watch, hence the 4 star rating.
it's not a fantastic movie by any stretch of the imagination, but I enjoyed myself while watching it and that's what counts. it has a very claustrophobic tone, and is not action packed and based very much on exposition, but the tension that's created is pretty impressive given the lack of action, and stephen mchattie is one of the main reasons to check it out, he's a lot of fun to watch.
