Review of Pontypool (2009) by Kinohi N — 01 Jun 2010
I really liked this movie. It was original and odd at points. The ending disappointed me a little bit, but everything else was very good. I really enjoyed the explanation of the virus, and how the infected people reacted.
The whole "radio station" during a zombie outbreak was an interesting idea to start out with, and with the expansion of yet another original idea with the "virus" really makes an enjoyable and intelligent horror movie.
Plus this film was made in Canada, and takes place in my province, its always nice to see a Canadian film that is "GOOD" for a change ahha. Best Canadian film since Strange Brew? Ha ha maybe.
