This movie is a whole lot of creepy... The fact that this movie takes place from the viewpoint of a radio host/staff who have little to no idea of what is going on around them - allows for this "unknown" situation to spread like the virus itself - drawing you in.... From this perspective, it creates an errie suspense that is a refreshing change from the typical gory zombie-fest that we are used to...
The acting is excellent, the script is smart and the characters well developed. The so-called "situation" of infestation via "English language" that plagued the people of Pontypool was a different breed of zombie - and it made for a smarter and more entertaining horror/zombie/thriller....
Would recommend this movie...
