Review of Pontypool (2009) by Vic R — 23 Dec 2009
Wonderful! The acting is top notch, the characters are likeable, and this is the most original usage of the zombie genre I have ever seen.
To think that zombie-ism is passed through infected words of the English language. Just great!!! Ok, so it is a bit of a copy of the Doctor Who audio story 'The Whispers of Terror', but it just works so well.
The majority of the story concerns with a radio station receiving strange messages from around the town of Pontypool where people are going bezerk and eating other people.
The movie starts out slow, but it is utilized well as it builds up the characters so well.
A true little Canadian gem.
