Review of Pontypool (2009) by Alex T — 06 Nov 2009

This movie was so intense and really well written, the basic premise for some people would be laughable but this is honestly a big time game changer for the Zombie/Horror genre. We rarely even see any of the infected, and what makes it even more brilliant is that words are what triggers this monstrous change in the people of this small Canadian town. Not radioactive fallout, or a comet from outer space. Words!!! That is sheer brilliance.

This is one of those movie that requires repeated viewing but I can only imagine it will only get better and better each time.

Stephen McHattie gives a really great performance as well, so rent Pontypool, you will not be dissapointed.
