Review of Ponette (1996) by Ben B — 31 Aug 2007
The best acting I've ever seen was done in this movie by a 3 year old girl. Its a beautiful movie about grieving from a young childs point of view. The acting is so real, and heartbreaking. But there are these delightful moments too.
Be warned though, it moves slowly, and is more introspective than entertaining. Also, the whole thing is in French w/ subtitles.
