Review of Pompeii (2014) by Maxx D — 07 May 2014
Jon Snow (Game of Thrones) and Mr Eko (Lost) face off against Jack Bauer (24) and A VOLCANO. Sounds great, right? But is it?! No. It is not. Sutherland is atrocious and the whole thing is tied together by director Anderson as loosely as a fat old Romanian woman's neckerchief.
Gets a single star purely for some exciting (but overused) CGI and a good, bassy sound mix. I'd rather be burned alive than watch it again.
