I don't know why this film exists. Theoretically skillfully directed, competently acted and theoretically respectful. But it's also quite superficial, derivative and ultimately leaves a nasty taste of cynicism and exploitation in my mouth.
In the end I agree with the critics who called this little more a slick, cynical expoitation film.
