Review of Polyester (1981) by Tristan G — 17 Nov 2007
The hilarious concept makes this worth buying. Basically, while watching the film, numbers appear and you have to scratch and sniff a card that has the numbers indicated on it to smell the smell.. The film itself is pretty much just average.
Some woman's life sucks, with her abusive husband, her stupid daughter, and her mentally insane son. Eventually things get so low that things can only get better, and they do when she meets Tab Hunter's character.
But there's some sort of scam going on. Anyways, it's a little dumb and not particularly funny, just interesting. However, I give the film a half star more just because of the odor-rama card that the dvd comes with.
Check it out, it's pretty sweet.
