Review of Polyester (1981) by Kyle H — 30 Dec 2007
A trash classic from the filthiest director alive. If you're familiar with John Waters' films, you know this is mild compared to the others, but still quite fabolously camp. Divine really gave it her all in this tongue in cheek melodrama.
Followed by Mink Stole being oddly hot in the Bo Derek cornrolls. Also, I was fortunate enough to actually purchase this for the added boost of the scratch and sniff odorama card. The only complaint was maybe the ending was so run amuck wild it kind of lost focus and left out some of the story.
Eh, well, All hail the Pope of Trash.
