Review of Polyester (1981) by Damien K — 15 Jun 2009
"BEER!" The last of the low budget, non-mainstream movies from John Waters, before the general public was too jaded to think of his brand of shock value as hip and trendy. Great performance by the late punk legend Stiv Bators, my favorite attack by pro-life activists on film, and the ever endearing Baltimore Foot Stomper.
It's a shame that the video store doesn't have a supply of odorama cards available, but some one who was old enough to remember what they actually smelled like gave me an idea of what I was missing.
(The family that slays together, stays together...).
