Geez, people, it's a sequel. Your standards should be pretty low. Keeping that in mind, PIII has a surprisingly inventive script (which contains the words "Carol-Anne!" something like 120 times), the characters are less cliche than usual, the premise is actually pretty neat, and the effects are excellent.

And Tangina spouts even better sage wisdom than in the second one.
