Review of Poltergeist II: The Other Side (1986) by Kristal C — 31 Oct 2007

Besides the creepy old man, there's only one good thing in this film. It's when Craig T Nelson downs a bottle of tequilla and swallows the worm, which grows in his stomach. he vomits out this weird HG Giger creature that flaps around on the floor.

it's so out-of-left field and freaky that it kicks the film to a whole new level -- only to have it come crashing back down moments later. The ending which takes place on 'the other side' is laughable.

Especially when (spoilers) granny comes to save everyone as they're floating aroudn what looks like clouds of ink in a big water tank.
