Utter crap! I'm not sure the franchise needed to in the direction it did here.. Creating a name/persona for the demon aka 'Kane' was a big mistake. Nothing except the family relates to the actual original film.
Plus the scene at the end is so badly thrown together and rushed. Having said all that I can see an improvement to JoBeth William's acting here and Craig T.Nelson is brilliant.
