Review of Poltergeist II: The Other Side (1986) by David B — 26 Feb 2012

It's great that the cast are back, always a good thing for a sequel. The story digs a little deeper about the "Poltergeist" but it gets a bit to silly for it's own good towards the end and near to embarrasing.

The special effects on the other hand are once again great and slightly (and only slightly) improved. The build-up to reveal the Poltergeist is at a perfect pace and at times, suspenceful but the final 3rd is let down by over the top "Relm" scene.

Good Sequel if you loved the first, just expect near-enough the same thing.
