I'll have to disagree with many of the people that have rated this film. I don't think it was NEARLY as bad as some of these people have said.

True - was it just as good as the original? No. Was it scary? Eh - certain times.

But, I think a lot of these people were biased as soon as the film was announced, because they loved the original. As a person who doesn't remember a whole lot of the original, maybe my opinion doesn't matter, however I felt it was entertaining enough of a story. I didn't leave the theater feeling like I wasted money, but I also didn't leave saying, "Holy crap that was AMAZING!!!" either.

What people should base their reviews on is the script, the acting, and cinematography. The script could've been better, the acting was really well done considering child actors, and the cinematography was alright in my opinion.

Regardless, everyone is entitled to their own opinions - some people dodnt like it, I think some are overexaggerated. I thought it was OK.
