Not as bad as you think it might be, but on the other hand ... it's really hard to care about any of the characters, cause everything is rushed and kind of bland, a lot of character subplots just disappear, and shouldn't even have been there.
other than that it's a technically well crafted movie that has nice effects and a few nice jump scares.
