Review of Poltergeist (2015) by Donna D — 30 Sep 2015

First off let me just say that we did not need a Poltergeist remake in the 1st place. Now that I got that out of the way I have to say this remake is perhaps one of the worst remakes ever made. Everything in this movie is just bad and a disgrace and shouldn't even have the Poltergeist name on it.

Things that worked for the original like suspense, great characters and actors and a touch of scariness is all void of this remake. Certain scenes that was duplicated from the original were just awful.

I'm shocked that( Mr. Evil Dead himself) Sam Raimi was partly responsible for this mess. Teens who havent seen the original Poltergeist should not even watch this version. Just go and rent or buy the original, it still holds up to this day as one of the best ghost flicks ever made.

Shame on you Hollywood for putting this garbage remake together.
