The stunts are the best, no beats! One of the most impressive stunts in cinema history.
In my opinion, it's the undisbuted modern martial art movie, (with an exception to the iconic Bruce Lee).
Police Story in my terms, is a ground breaking martial art film, it had a modern story, with a great mix of comedy, and full contact fighting mixed with real impresive & dangerous stunts with no wires. This dangerous stunt style martial arts movie making soon became Jackie's trademark!Also one of the first movies to add in a free running parkour style element to the stunts if you pay close attention to certain fight scenes like the car and mall which later had a bigger influence on the choreography in Police Story 2 in the park and bus scenes.
As well as a more kickbox style of kung fu! And the action and stunts itself are still setting standards even till today.
Hence in my opinion 5 stars! And a space on my list for the sheer amounts of dangerous stunts.
