Another reviewer has said that this film demands a patient viewer. I'd agree with that but unfortunately I don't think I was patient enough. I did find myself sitting thinking "Why am I watching this man eat soup noisily? GET ON WITH IT!" Judging by other reviews I was missing knowledge of social context or something that would make me see more in this film.
As it was I'm afraid I didn't like it.
