Review of Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment (1985) by Jack H — 30 Apr 2012
I watched this film just recently (second time ever?) and found it basically enjoyable in its story of academy graduates who go out on patrol of the city in the worst parts of that city. There are some risque scenes, including one of revenge by one graduate against an irksome coworker/leader, and the plot is one of general mayhem as the recruits attempt to clean up the dirty city.
Not all of the first film's featured actors return for the second film and one new character is played by a former television sitcom star. Another role is filled by a comedian whom I've never been fond of, his character is as irritating as his comedic personna.
