This is one of the classic 1980's comedy's. The appeal of this film is the innocent fun of it. It's not meant to be taken seriously, it's not meant to insult anyone, and it's not meant to taken apart and examined for deeper meanings.
It's meant to be enjoyed with popcorn, it's meant to be enjoyed with friends, it's meant to be simply enjoyed for the giggles and chuckles it causes. Nothing more, nothing less.
