Here is a great comedy from a time when comedy and funny were synonymous. In the style of zanny antics along the lines of "National Lampoon" (Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo) and "Cannonball Run", "Police Academy" is, even now, a movie that is ageless.
Hooks, Tackleberry, Lassard, Hightower, Mahoney, Callaghan, Harris, Jones ... Those that started it all 26 years ago. A timeless classic.
