Review of Police Academy (1984) by Emma H — 07 Aug 2010
In the first 20 minutes or so I was sure this movie was going to be good. The characters and premise of the film seemed set to blow up in comic explosion. Either there was a detonation failure or I just missed the bang, because I didn't see it.
It was fun for about an hour but then my mind just tuned out. The plot was numbingly simple and just failed to captivate me. Maybe I'll check out a sequel or two to see if this title can be redeemed for me.
