This has how many sequels... and they're supposed to get WORSE? I don't understand how Police Academy, a plotless, laugh-free comedy, is considered a classic. The jokes aren't funny and when one joke has potential to be funny, the payoff is screwed up.
It tries so hard to be Animal House with cops that it forgot to put the comedy in. I debated even rating the movie since I dozed off while watching it, but I didn't want to rewind the ten minutes of missed lousy jokes.
It was made in the 80's, so maybe I just needed to do massive amounts of coke before I watched it.
