One of the funniest movies ever . Legendary characters. Ground-breaking in the comedy genre. Personally, I don't care for crude or profane humor, and this is the most of all the Police Academy's.
The sophomoric nature of some of the pointless & sexual jokes are about the only thing I hold against it. The sequels were able to be edgy without going over the top with some of the potty stuff. Still, a classic.
Amazingly memorable score. Surprising for such a picture. Can't miss. Despite the excessive crudeness of the first in particular, it's still probably the best one.
