"Polar" is trashy, but not in a pleasant way. I understand it's based on a graphic novel, but that doesn't give the film a pass for being misogynistic or grating on the eyes with its wildly oversaturated color grading.
The fact that this stars someone like Mads Mikkelsen is even more maddening.
