Pokemon is a great video game series, and it's a great universe to immerse yourself into, but the movies and show really kind of blow when you consider their potential. I get it. Pokemon are special.
But they treat it in such an absurdly altruistic way - they are using these creatures for a tame blood sport, yes? Either go in one direction or the other, but not in between. It's just confusing.
... I'm such a nerd.
