Theres a certain pretentiousness to this movie but somehow thats a compliment to a pokemon movie cuz it can never level away from being numbingly simple and stupid. that doesnt make the pokemon concept and series anymore interesting iwth this movie.
it manages to frame a plot away from the usual lets have our animals fight each other for no good reason, but thier's no fresh arch, no charachter that doesnt have some annoying anime stereotype. its a kids movie best kept in the vult.
...and best kept,,,as I write this...in vague memory.
