Review of Pokémon: Giratina and the Sky Warrior (2008) by Martin C — 07 May 2010
In the ongoing trilogy related to the Diamond and Pearl generation of Pokemon, as if two huge godlike dragons having a feature length battle wasn't enough it turns out that their constant battling has disturbed Giratina who (bare with me) lives in a parallel dimension. With the battles of the other two Uber-creatures disrupting his home Giratina enters the battle on a quest for revenge.
This in turn sets into motion a journey which sees Ash and co escorting a really whiny Shaymin (A legendary grass hedgehog looking creature) on his annual pilgrimage. It's a twisted and intersecting tale featuring a sinister human antagonist multiple dimensions and more legendary monster battles than...well the last film.
Read up on your physics in order to explain the theory of alternate realities to your children before you let them watch / or alternately let them watch it multiple times and then have them explain it to you.
