A 1991 film, yet I can think of nothing more 1980s. Very amusing to watch this drivel now, with its wooden dialogue, montages, bouffant hair, and terrible buddy cop movie cliches. So there's fun to be had laughing at it, but there's no getting away from the fact that it is truly dreadful taken at face value.
