Review of Point Break (2015) by James A — 10 Nov 2012
Point Break is a movie that got little recognition, when it came out, but became an overnight hit, through reference and sharing. This film is probably my favorite cop film, ever, and I can say that I saw it when I was a kid and continue to do so now with the same excitement, as when I saw it when I was a child.
Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze give performances to be remembered for, as the two rivals/friends, Utah and Bodhi. Another surprising performance is Gary Busey as Keanu's partner, Pappas, who gets you hooked into his cynical humor and keeps light spirits in a fun and smart movie.
Overall, I couldn't particularly find a single detail in this film that could even warrant less than a perfect score, so I'll not only give it a five outta five, but I'll give it a full recommendation along with a guarantee that this film can be enjoyed by anyone who sees it with an open mind and a fun spirit.
Hope you all enjoy it! Or as Utah would say: "Vaya con Dios...".
