Review of Point Break (1991) by Jacob D — 04 Dec 2009
A good bad movie, enjoyable especially with its lame dialogue and cheesy direction. Gary Busey is the real star here, with Reeves and Swayze taking all the screentime. They're like a couple of homos unsure of their sexuality, getting odd adrenaline rushes by robbing banks and surfing big waves, dude.
Some of the 'action' scenes are good, namely the chase sequence between Reeves and Swayze, but the movie too many times seems like it's at the ending and then it goes off in another ludicrous direction.
Enjoyable, like I said, but only to a point.
