Review of Point Break (1991) by Caque A — 19 May 2010
WHOA! What a bromance-aganza! Something about this movie makes it just slightly better than the typical cop drama. Is it Reeves playing football on the beach? No, he played for Ohio State. Is it Busey drinking on set throughout the film? No, he was probably doing coke too.
Is it Patrick Swayze walking around without a shirt? No, his wardrobe is only noteworthy when he's wearing a dress. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's Kathryn Bigelow's ridiculous sense for the masculine.
I do know, however, that this film is one Dave Matthew's Band short of the ultimate Bro-fest.
