Review of Point Break (1991) by Chelsea V — 16 Jul 2011
As much as I love Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze, I wanted to kick them in this infuriating movie. There's a retarded cop who should've shot Bodhi a long time ago, along with moments that make me scream, "WHAT THE CRAP IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" I mean, sure, they were trying to prolong the movie, but there must've been a more ingenious way than an incessant cat and mouse game.
Though, I think that's why I kept watching it until the end...the cat either gets the mouse as a prize, or the mouse gets the cheese as a prize - I wanted to see who got what. As it turns out, the cat got the cheese, the mouse gets the cat, and I think that made the movie better at the finish line.
