RIP Patrick Swayze. If you want to see a bad ass action movie about surfing, cops,and bank robbery, I highly suggest you watch Point Break. Point Break is a classic. Its plot has a lot of intriguing elements to it.
Keanu Reeves is an ex-college football star thats now a cop in the bank robbery business. He's trying find the men behind the masks of presidents that rob banks in less than 90 seconds. And they're supposedly surfers.
Right there you already have an intriguing story line that ends up being very good for this movie. Keanu Reeves is such a terrible actor but he's so likable in everything he does. Also Patrick Swayze gives a solid performance as the spiritual/intellectual surfer, Bohdi.
The surfing and skydiving scenes are amazing and very cool to see. You also get the pleasure of an amusing Gary Busey performance. Where else are you going to see Keanu Reeves jump out of an airplane with no parachute on with a gun in his hands? Kathryn Bigelow really created something special with Point Break, the plot and theme of this movie was great and we really don't always see something quite like this film.
