Review of Point Break (1991) by Guido S — 03 Dec 2013
Keanu Reeves is Johnny Utah, an OSU football star who injured himself and ends up in the FBI. He learns of a bank robbing gang and believes they are surfers, so he goes undercover to try and solve who is behind it.
He ends up getting close to the gang, led by Patrick Swayze. He does end up going on a bust, but is he willing to follow the law, or has he been turned. Basically, this plays out very similarly to Fast and Furious, though I prefer the later, this is still pretty good.
I thought they way they figured out they were surfers was a bit of a stretch, and the ending wasn't the most believable with a fist fight on the beach along with Keanu letting Swayze ride off on the waves.
Otherwise, a pretty good movie.
