Review of Point Blank (2010) by Matt S — 20 Apr 2012
Point Blank is a short French action movie that starts with a chase and hardly lets up from there. An excellent crime thriller as well as criminals, good cops and bad cops all scramble trying to solve, or cover up the truth.
The plot isn't anything special. Innocent man's pregnant wife is kidnapped and he is forced to help a criminal in the hospital he works for escape from police custody. Everything goes wrong, naturally, many chases and fights ensue.
The pacing was relentless and the action was great and the characters were well done. A thoroughly enjoyable addition to the action movie genre.
