Review of Point Blank (1967) by Private U — 24 Mar 2008
After being double crossed and shot, Lee Marin is out for cold revenge. The film is gritty, slick and moving fast, but tends to get a little bit tedious. Those sudden flashbacks gives the film a nice style which reminds of Peckinpah.
It was all in all alright really, nothing particularly stand-out, well except Lee Marvin who is so smooth in character, but aggressive in his own cool and quiet way.
