Review of Point Blank (1967) by Masorad ( — 16 Apr 2010
Lee Marvin plays a man who has been double crossed by his partner and wife and left for dead. Sure enough when feeling better he seeks revenge and wants his money back. Extremely clever script with an exceptional performance by Marvin.
Quite artful direction by Boorman, but this element certainly adds to the kitschy atmosphere shown in the film. This is one of the best of its kind and a personal favourite.
