Somebody has to pay.
Walker is double crossed during a robbery and sent to jail. He escapes the prison and heads on a murderous rampage in hopes of retrieving what is owed to him from the robbery. As Walker tracks down those responsible for his jail time and lack of funds, he discovers the world has changed and so has the characteristics of those responsible.
"I am going to help you and you are going to help me.".
John Boorman, director of Deliverance, Exorcist II, Excalibur, Hell in the Pacific, The General, Hope and Glory, and the upcoming Queen and Country, delivers Point Blank. The storyline for this picture was very interesting and reminded me of Get Carter mixed with Payback. The script was pretty good and the action scenes were outstanding. The cast delivers solid performances and includes Lee Marvin, Angie Dickinson, John Vernon, and Keenan Wynn.
"Take it easy you'll last longer.".
Point Blank is a movie Turner Classic Movies (TCM) previewed on their Facebook page a few months ago so I DVR'd it. I recently watched this picture and thoroughly enjoyed Lee Marvin's performance. His character was tough, determined, and ruthless. This movie is definitely worth seeing!
