Review of Point and Shoot (2016) by Greg R — 29 Jun 2015
Thought provoking, it seems his intentions come from a place of selflessness, friendship, and desire to make a difference. But, it also seems he is narcissistic about watching himself while doing it. It seemed less about documenting the Libyan Revolution and more about documenting himself.
Long stretches are just camera selfies of him and not his fellow soldiers. Very odd camera shots - 8 guys and he cuts them out and focuses on his face. That said, what he goes through is tough. Certainly no more difficult or terrifying than our own soldiers go through every day.
