Slow, subtle, philosophical and very well acted, auteur Lee Chang-Dong's Poetry is reminiscent of his Peppermint Candy as a character study. Jeong-hie Yun's on-screen return after 16 years, is a delight and she doles out a nuanced performance of a distraught and yearning grandmother.
