Review of Pocketful of Miracles (1961) by Katherine O — 20 Feb 2008
I've always loved this movie from the first time I saw it as a young girl. Bette Davis' mother's love angle is moving and the Glenn Ford's humorous obsession with luck goes from funny to making him a wreck.
The characters are so classic you can't help but enjoy such a good movie. Long before sex, violence and lanquage over ran films...this is a winner.
