Only the spirit within can guide you.

In Jamestown, Virginia news has surfaced that John Smith has died. Pocahontas must move on and she starts by representing her tribe in a trip to meet the King of England. The King is getting news that her people are savages and he is considering attacking them. Pocahontas must convince him to cease the attack.

"Where do we go from here?".

Tom Ellery, who worked on the Beauty and the Beast, Wreck-It Ralph, Chicken Little, The Princes and the Frog, Bebe's Kids, and The Little Mermaid films, delivers Pocahontas 2 in his directorial debut. The storyline for this picture is fairly interesting and not a complete fail for a sequel. The characters were well delivered and the dialogue and songs were solid. The animation was disappointing and below average. The voices include Irene Bedard, Mel Gibson, Jim Cummings, and Billy Zane.

"Since you are new here I don't expect you to have them yet.".

My daughter got this set for Christmas and we sat down and watched it the other night together. She absolutely loved this movie, especially the animals. I was a little annoyed with the quality of the animation, especially the trees, snow, and clouds just looked lazy. The overall film is better than average and likely one of the better sequels. This is worth a viewing and your kids may love it.

"Listen to your heart.".

Grade: C+.
