Review of Plunkett & Macleane (1999) by Elenaria N — 09 May 2010
What a delightful madness this movie is! There are no stupid plotholes, no too-sappy moments and no excuses. There is only a pretty neat and epic tale that dives headlong into freedom, with a marvellous (AWESOME!) soundtrack, memorable quotes and delightful anachronisms. It is enjoyable, period, so watch it for what it is, and don't bother with whining on about historical accuracy or such.
And did I mention the soundtrack? Why yes I did. I'll do it again. It is brilliant.
