Enjoyable to watch, and interesting. I think that more active interviewing or engagement by the filmmakers would have been enlightening- some interesting moments occurred when the kids were talking to the camera.

One afterthought: some scenes which prompted an "only in China" remark were, after some reflection, not that dissimilar to what probably happens in super-competitive homes in my home (the US) or, I imagine, in many other developed countries.
