Emotionally moving and engaging. thoroughly astute in its observations of present day new yorkers (which is both refreshing yet sad...) oliver platt always is an amusing presence on screen (although noone watched his best character ever, which was in the television drama 'huff').
amanda peet certainly holds her own. and an absolute tour de force of acting by catherine keener and rebecca hall (who is rapidly moving up my charts of favorite actresses). I even shed a few tears. highly recommended, especially for those of you who like character studies.
