This existential slice of life surely makes up for all the cinematic crap I have indulged in lately. Smartly written and played extremely well by all the actors, Please Give is a "must see" movie that actually makes you think - what a concept! Is altruistic "do-gooding" a fraud if it doesn't resonate honestly within you? Or something like that.
